... We are now working towards achieving ISO 9001:2008. In conjunction with training company QCS, we have started a process of implementing the world recognised Quality Management System ISO into our company. Although we have an excellent customer care system, we feel that having this formally recognised will be of further benefit to our customers.

... Our installation team have now successfully completed a blown fibre installation training course and are now fully certified in it's installation. The main benefits of blown fibre are reduced long term costs and quicker future upgrades.

... The latest version of SMART Meeting Pro collaborative meeting software brings more functionality and improved whiteboarding to business customers. It enables users to open applications, web browsers, write in digital ink and save everything from notes and marked-up pages to screen captures as a single PDF, PPT or image file. Notes can also be written over files in programs such as Microsoft® Word, Excel®, PowerPoint®, as well as AutoCAD® and Adobe Acrobat®, and save their work in the native format – complete with digital mark-ups. And when the meeting is finished, they can e-mail it to their team, or save to the network or USB drive.

... The construction of the new £279 million Acute Hospital for the South West is continuing and our installation team is currently on site installing the cabling to be used for all the data and voice requirements within the hospital.

2009

... Meritcom appointed as approved suppliers and installers of SmartBoard and ebeam technologies and we are able to offer the full range of products and provide a full installation service.

2008

When deciding which network cabling systems to install for their new flagship furniture showroom on the Boucher Road, Ernest Fulton recognised the importance of a structured cabling infrastructure for the provision of their Voice, Data, Epos; TV Disply and CCTV systems. Meritcom where able to supply and install the complete category 6 installation along with provision of the complete TV Display and CCTV systems. By flood wiring the building, Fultons realised that changes to the systems required due the day-to-day changes to the showroom layouts, could be easily implemented. As a bonus they would need to contact Meritcom only to make any changes to equipment locations or for any maintenance.
